Inventory software for independent lumberyards

Know what’s in the yard—without slowing down the yard.

YardStock gives the crew a fast, scan-first way to receive, move, count, and find material. Managers get a live inventory trail, even when the back lot loses signal.

Built around the work

Fewer clipboard laps. Fewer mystery counts.

Every screen is designed for the person holding the material, the phone, or the count sheet—not for a software implementation team.

“Inventory should happen as material moves—not as a separate office project.”

THE YARDSTOCK PRINCIPLE / 01

Four jobs. One clean trail.

Inventory software that speaks yard.

See every feature
01

Scan-first stock moves

Open a product from its yard label, record material in or out, and keep the crew moving.

02

Offline-ready by design

Keep working through spotty yard coverage. Pending activity syncs when the connection returns.

03

A useful audit trail

See who moved what, when it changed, and where it belongs—without reconstructing the day from memory.

04

One view across locations

Organize material by yard, row, bay, warehouse, or the location language your team already uses.

From label to ledger

Three taps between a stock move and a useful record.

  1. 01
    Scan or search

Open the exact product without digging through a giant catalog.

  2. 02
    Choose the move

Take out, put in, or count with controls that work in gloves and glare.

  3. 03
    Keep moving

YardStock records the who, what, where, and when—and syncs when it can.

The short version

Questions from the count desk.

01Is YardStock available today?+

The working product demo is available now. Account creation and the hosted public beta are opening soon.

02What kinds of inventory can it track?+

YardStock is being designed around dimensional lumber, panels, roofing, hardware, and the other materials independent lumberyards move every day.

03Does it work when the yard has weak internet?+

That is a core design goal. The current demo keeps essential inventory activity on the device and syncs pending work after connectivity returns.

04Can I try it before the beta?+

Yes. The public demo uses sample yard data so you can explore the employee and manager workflows without creating an account.
